Action Girl's Atomic Cheesecake Studios

Karb Kings member Stacey, a.k.a. Action Girl owns Atomic Cheesecake Studios in Parkville.

Atomic Cheesecake is a full service pin-up photography studio that gives modern girls the opportunity to be styled and photographed as classic pin-ups made popular during the 1940's and 1950's. Stacey started the studio as a way to tie her passions for pin-up into her desire to have a creative career.

Girls coming to the studio get a full make-up application, vintage hairstyle, and use of her extensive wardrobe collection. Sets are kept simple and clean so that the focus is on the model, and so that her images are as period-perfect as possible. Stacey prides herself on making pin-up accessible to everyone and works hard to make even the most inexperienced girls look like pro models in their photos.

Stacey's work has been published in Australian car culture mag, Deadbeat, and has also been in several gallery shows on the East Coast. Atomic Cheesecake also sponsors the Pin-up contest at the Greaseball, donating a photo shoot to the winner.

When she's not taking pictures of girls in bras and garter belts, Stacey is a total car nut, vintage scooter enthusiast and lover all all things mid-century. She drives a custom 51 Chevy "Faye the Chevrolet" that she built with the help of her Dad. An interview with Stacey and her Dad covering the story of the build was featured on the Jalopy Showdown DVD by Accident Proof Productions.
